Description
Participants have the opportunity to engage the imagination and creativity through the design and production of multimedia resources for all levels of the education system as well as corporate training, nursing, government departments, state agencies and NGOs. In the process participants will gain an understanding of the importance of visual literacy in education.

Learning Outcomes
1. Critical understanding of visual literacy in education.
2. Design, create and present multimedia resources for all levels of the education system as well as corporate training, nursing, government departments, state agencies and NGOs.
3. Discuss forms of evaluation for multimedia resources.
4. Explain how multimedia resource can enhance learning and teaching.
5. Reflect on own learning and recognise areas of success and areas for improvement.
6. Engage the imagination and creativity.
