Description
Participants examine ways of using social media in teaching learning and creative enquiry. Key principles of usability, accessibility and copyright will be explored. Participants will learn how to express ideas using different forms of representation.

Learning Outcomes
1. Examine ways of using social media in teaching and learning.
2. Critically reflect on the design and application of social media for learning.
3. Discuss how social media can promote innovation in learning and teaching.
4. Describe the key elements required for the design of an interactive artefact.
5. Present ideas using a storyboard.
6. Discuss the need to consider copyright.
7. Evaluate an e-learning artefact/resource using usability and accessibility principles.
8. Articulate own professional values and motivation.
9. Demonstrate practical skills in the development of e-learning.
10. Reflect on own learning through in class presentations and through the use of online technologies.
