Description
This optional module will allow students on the Graduate Diploma in Education finish at level 9 through the completion of a professional e-portfoloio.

Learning Outcomes
1. Demonstrate a systematic understanding of the inovative developments in teaching and learning.
2. Show that they have a critical awareness of current problems and/or new insights, generally informed by new developments in foundational and professional theories of education.
3. Demonstrate a range ofstandard and specialisedresearch or equivalent toolsand techniques of enquiry related to testing and analysing pedagogies in professional placement.
4. Select from complex andadvanced skills across education studies.
5. Develop new skillsto a high level, including noveland emerging techniques in teaching and learning.
6. Act in a wide and oftenunpredictable variety ofprofessional levels and ill definedcontexts related to post-primary education.
