Description

The overall aim of this course is to develop learners' linguistic competency for basic interpersonal communication and to develop their intercultural awareness.

Learning Outcomes

1. Develop increasing fluency and accuracy in both written and spoken German.
2. Express personal point of view on basic issues in written and spoken contexts.
3. Summarise the main points of increasingly long pieces of text.
4. Demonstrate intercultural awareness in relation to general communication and work practices in the German-speaking countries
