Description
The overall aim of this competence based module is to enable students to handle with near-native competence a variety of simulated professional situations. The emphasis will be put on German for business, e.g. writing business letters, understanding business-related texts, oral business skills and giving presentations.The exit level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is B2.2.

Learning Outcomes
1. Discuss and explain key business terms in German.
2. Apply key business concepts and develop a marketing strategy for a fictional product.
3. Present a marketing and export strategy for a product in German.
4. Produce a formal business letter in German.
5. Demonstrate an awareness of current economic developments relating to Germany.
