Description
The module has a theoretical and a practical concern. On the one hand it aims to explain the meanings of moral concepts and the methods supporting ethical standards and institutions in the economic, political and legal spheres. On the other hand it aims to enable the students to recognise, identify and evaluate the nature of moral conflicts in their future work environment.

Learning Outcomes
1. Recognise, explain and evaluate ethical concepts in economic, political and social contexts.
2. Carry out research into an ethical issue in an economic and/or social context and present findings orally through German.
3. Produce structured and well-argued written outputs in German relating to the module content.
4. Research and present a group project in German in an interactive manner.

Indicative Content and Learning Activities
Business ethics at micro, meso and macro level.
Ethical issues will be examined in a number of areas such corporate social responsibility, trade, the environment, tourism, human rights, finance and advertising.
