Description

This module aims to develop the learner's ability to translate economic texts at an advanced level in a working environment which approximates to that of a professional translator.

Learning Outcomes

1. Undertake translation-related research in the fields of Economic Reports/ Forecasts and Financial Services
2. Identify appropriate parallel texts
3. Construct economic glossaries
4. Translate texts from the fields of Economic Reports/ Forecasts and Financial Services into English
5. Collaborate online in the completion of a translation task
6. Use and contribute to the development of online resources for economic translation
