Description
To develop the behavioural skills of students in the fields of verbal expression, active listening, appropriate body language, written analysis and visual presentation in the contemporary multicultural commercial environment. To inculcate an active awareness of the significance of communication in current business practice.

Learning Outcomes
1. Deliver business-style professional presentations to their seminars.
2. Demonstrate the significance of body language/ non-verbal communication in classroom exercises and interaction.
3. Apply the arts of effective written communication in the areas of report writing, document analysis, and 'netiquette' (email usage).
4. Participate in group-work communication exercises such as conflict resolution role play.
5. Identify essential features of business media communication.
6. Participate in a field trip/ site visit to a centre of multicultural significance.
