The module offers an overall introduction to the field of Intercultural Studies and its relevance to the contemporary world.

1. Identify the issues in contemporary society which are addressed by Intercultural Studies
2. Compare and analyse topical issues in intercultural situations
3. Express his/her own position on intercultural issues which are subject to debate
