Description

This module aims to train learners in methods of text analysis and to provide an introduction to writing English texts in a range of specialised domains.

Learning Outcomes

1. Identify cohesion and coherence in English texts.
2. Describe and compare the features of traditional printed texts and virtual texts.
3. Analyse texts from a range of different domains.
4. Identify the features of Irish English texts
