Description

In this module students conduct original research under the guidance of a supervisor, and report on that research in a 12,000 word dissertation.

Learning Outcomes

1. Express research questions in a clear manner
2. Synthesise information and arguments from a range of appropriate sources
3. Select a methodology appropriate to a given research question
4. Analyse selected data using well motivated conceptual tools
5. Present research in an appropriate academic style and using appropriate referencing conventions
