Description
The objective of the dissertation is to introduce students to conducting in-depth and original research in the field of Intercultural Studies, using methodology appropriate to the topic chosen. The areas on which the students work and the methodologies used have all been introduced by the taught components of the programme. Students will work under the supervision of a named member of staff. Students will be expected to adapt research methods to their own particular topic.

1. Identify a research question within Intercultural Studies
2. Identify and use appropriate sources of information
3. Select and apply a specific methodology to the subject of their research
4. Analyse relationships within the data
5. Synthesise their findings
6. Present their research results in a clear and articulate manner
