Description

The objective of this module is to raise students' awareness of the issues arising in an intercultural work environment and to give them the tools to engage effectively with such issues. This will be done by examining the students' own conditionings and prejudices influencing their ability to interact successfully within an intercultural workplace, by exploring issues relating to interaction with different linguistic and cultural norms and values, different learning styles, minorities, diversity; and by comparing the current Irish situation with practice elsewhere.
