Description
The purpose of this module is to enable students toundertake independent research and present findings in a coherent way. Students will present an MA dissertation according to the highest standards of academic writing.

Learning Outcomes
1. Identify an original research topic in the field of Comparative Literature
2. Present a relevant comparative theoretical framework
3. Select and apply a specific comparative methodology to the subject of their research
4. Construct an interpretation of selected literary texts by way of analysis
5. Develop a sustained argument cogently and coherently in written form
6. Employ bibliographic skills appropriate to comparative and literary discourse
