Description
The objective of this module is that students should develop an appreciation of the roles and responsibilities of professional engineers, acquire appropriate interpersonal and communications skills, and develop a critical, reflective approach to managerial concepts, strategic issues. Competency in preparing strategic proposal would also be one of the main objectives.

Learning Outcomes
1. Explain the key strategic steps that are essential for product development practice.
2. Describe management functions on organisations and their interdependence for achieving stated objectives
3. Prepare proposal documents for engineering and business projects to a professional standard.
4. Demonstrate how to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels, manage time and conduct meetings effectively.
5. Show good understanding of the concept of people management, performance management and motivational skills.
6. Demonstrate competence to plan for crisis management, to negotiate and resolve conflict at work place
