Description
|
The purpose of this module is introduce students to the reality of immersion in a business, or business-related organisation. Students will be expected to function as employees of these organisations, for 4 months, typically beginning in April of the 2nd year of the progremme, in a role related to their DCU programme. During this time it is intended that they gain the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned previously during their course and the opportunity to reflect both on their performance and learning during the placement.

| Report (s) (written / oral) | In order to complete INTRA, each student must submit an INTRA Report, to be emailed to intra@dcu.ie. The report is marked by the student's INTRA Tutor and must achieve a “satisfactory” rating. The purpose of the INTRA Report is to provide the student with an opportunity to document and evaluate their experience in the work place and comprises a reflective journal, a self-evaluation of performance and a self-development plan. The deadline for submission of the INTRA report is 17.00 hrs Friday 30th September 2011 | 100% | n/a |
