This module explores: the changing context within which occupational safety and health operates;the interdisciplinary nature of issues which arise in the area; and the nature of current emerging issues in occupational safety and health

Learning Outcomes
1. Ascertain the most significant recent and emerging issues in safety and health management
2. Persuade their organisations of the need to ensure that emerging issues are integrated into existing safety and health planning and strategy
3. Monitor and evaluate the dynamic nature of the field of safety and health at work
