Description

The dissertation aims to demonstrate the students ability to apply concepts, theories and analytical techniques gained through coursework within a research framework. The student undertakes a piece of independent research

1. Demonstrate a systematic and detailed knowledge of their chosen research topic
2. Synthesise and evaluate methodological, empirical and theoretical contributions in relation to their research question
3. Demonstrate independent and critical thinking skills
4. Organise and present a written summation of an independent piece of research
