Description
This module is designed to build on the module Personal and Professional Development 1. It aims to provide the student with the opportunity to develop skills of effective study and academic writing, utilising a variety of information and technical sources which contribute to nursing knowledge and practice. Students will continue to work on their computer skills with particular emphasis on word processing and presentation software. The module also aims to enhance the students’ knowledge and understanding of the legal and professional frameworks and legal concepts that are significant for nursing practice. Students will consider these concepts in addition to relevant legislation and examine their application to clinical practice.
