Description
The purpose of this module is to explore the application of psychological theories to organisational issues and to analyse the challenges and problems faced by employees in contemporary work settings. The module focuses on the principle activities of psychologists within organisational settings. Students will learn how to analyse behaviours and processes within organisations at a number of levels and will develop skills in the application of psychological theories to maximise effective practices, solve problems and improve organisational functioning.

Learning Outcomes
1. Identify changes in working practices and analyse the impact of the changes on employees and organisations
2. Apply psychological theories to explain organisational and individual phenomenon within workplaces
3. Using psychological theoretical frameworks, prescribe initiatives and solutions for a wide range of organisational issues and challenges
