Description
You the student nurse in intellecutal disability will work in the clinical setting for 18 weeks where you will have an opportunity to assess, plan, evaluate and implement nursing care to a high standard. During this module you will have the opportunity to complete the drug evidence or the nursing care plan evidence with the support of your Preceptor. This module is about showing that you can function competently at level 4 and that you are delivering nursing care similar to a staff nurse with minimal supervision from your preceptor. You will also be given experience in gaining the skills needed to manage the everyday needs of a unit for people with intellecutal disability.
