This module aims to provide a basic, one semester, introduction to the physics topics of mechanics, matter & waves, and heat. The subjects taught and the method of approach will be chosen to cover the topics which are most relevant to sports science and health. The module aims to develop student knowledge and appreciation of general physicsThis module provides a comprehensive introduction to the physics topics of mechanics, fluids, heat and temperature directed towards general science students. The modules aims to develop student to be able to confidently handle physics problems, using algebra-based methods. Students will be able to see the relationship between the classroom material and their practical experiments. and to be able to confidently handle problems, using non-calculus-based methods. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
