1. Examine key historical and current theory and research in the areas of social psychology and organisational psychology 2. Analyse the processes of individual cognition as they relate to social information processing and influence behaviour 3. Examine motives and drives which underpin social behaviour in humans 4. Assess the role of social influence on behaviour in groups and organisations 5. Evaluate real life scenarios in light of theory from applied topics in social psychology, such as interpersonal relationships, aggression, and health 6. Illustrate advantages and limitations of common methods and approaches used for research in social psychology and organisational psychology 7. Explain various perspectives and approaches used to study organisational psychology, including the individual, the organisation, and the dynamic process between the two 8. Analyse key concepts and theories in organisational psychology, including organisational structure, leadership, employee motivation, attitudes, and well-being 9. Evaluate how psychological factors can contribute towards the advances and limitations of an organisation's effectiveness 10.
