This module sets the level B1-B1.1 from the Common European Framework of Reference as its minimum exit level. As an Intermediate Spanish Language module, it aims to foster students' interest in and curiosity for the language by raising language awareness and developing students' competence in Spanish through analysis of Spanish verbs and tenses and the Subjunctive mood. The module's focus on topical social, cultural and political themes exposes students to a variety of text types, registers, media and viewpoints and consolidates productive, receptive, interactive and intercultural skills. The module builds learners' confidence in the accurate use of specific linguistic features and also assists learners in critical reflection, the effective setting of learning goals, planning of learning, learner autonomy and time management. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
