Description
This module sets the level B1.1 from the Common European Framework of Reference as its minimum exit level.It aims to build on students' existing knowledge of Spanish with emphasis on written and oral skills. It seeks to develop students' ability to express ideas and opinions, and to foster their confidence and competence in spoken and written interaction through the medium of Spanish.

Learning Outcomes
1. Express personal opinions in written form using suitable language register and structures.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of the gist of audiovisual texts.
3. Prepare and deliver an effective group presentation orally on a created artifact.
4. Show intercultural awareness by contrasting cultural behaviours and values across diverse cultural contexts.
5. Employ effective communication skills with a degree of grammatical and lexical accuracy appropriate for this level.
