The aims of this module are:- To consolidate and build up on Language Skills acquired in Spanish Language 101 and 102.- To develop information- gathering skills-To enhance student's awareness of different areas of the Spanish speaking world, such as working, economical and social life.- To make students aware of interculturality issues.- To reflect about learning strategies and the learning process.

Learning Outcomes
1. Demonstrate listening comprehension skills in Spanish language at a Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) A2 Level.
2. Employ effective communication skills with a degree of grammatical accuracy in conversations on some specialized topics.
3. Produce short texts on everyday and some specialized topics.
4. Demonstrate an understanding of the gist of written texts.
5. Establish parallelisms and contrasts between their culture and Hispanic cultures.
6. Evaluate their own learning strategies and learning process.

Indicative Content and Learning Activities
The Syllabus adopts a communicative approach where students will work in pairs or groups to communicate in everyday situations and develop a task..
Focus will be in oral interaction with discussions and presentations, as well as producing coherent texts..

Oral tasks will be recorded and downloaded in Moodle course page in order to be available to students themselves, and to develop awareness of improvement and self-assessment. Students will also work with audio files from Spanish Corner in Moodle..
