Description

The overall objectives of the course are:-to acquaint students with specialized language related to social, economic and political topics in Spanish-to increase students vocabulary in these areas-develop oral and written skills to discuss a specialized topic-to consolidate grammar structures and communicative functions of level B1 of the Common European Reference of Framework for Languages.

Learning Outcomes

1. Research and present in an interactive manner a specialized topic related to social, economic or political aspects in Hispanic countries.
2. Participate in a group discussion and express their opinion on a specialized topic.
3. Analyze a variety of specialized texts, identifying key-words, structure and main points.
4. Write short essays about specialized social, political or economic topics.
