Description

To enable students to acquire language skills that allow them to engage in academic activities in the course of their year abroad. To research and present a specialised business topic. To increase accuracy, fluency and range in oral production. To improve the student''s formal academic writing skills.

1. Define and explain key business vocabulary in Spanish
2. Analyse job advertisements
3. Produce a CV
4. Write a letter of application in response to a job advertisement
5. Examine and comment on current business topics

Analysis of a variety of newspaper articles. Practise formal writing on a specialised topic Group discussions on selected topics.
