Description
This module sets the level B2.2 from the Common European Framework of Reference as its minimum exit level. It aims at helping students to:-Achieve a high degree of fluency and accuracy in oral and written production in Spanish.-Recognize different text types and rhetorical devices used in texts related to current affairs, social, economical and political topics.-Further develop their ability to research a topic and coherently present an analysis of findings and express their own view on the subject.-Learn how to write summaries and structure commentaries in Spanish.

Learning Outcomes
1. Summarize the information contained in a specialized text both orally and in written form.
2. Identify different text typologies and rhetorical devices used in a text.
3. Write a structured and critical textual commentary in Spanish of a specialized text dealing with current affairs (politic, economic or social aspects).
4. Research and objectively present a controversial issue related to current affairs in an interactive and dynamic manner in Spanish.
5. Critically analyze complex current affairs issues and justify their own views on them.
