Description
To develop competence in specialised written tasks in the target language To achieve a high degree of fluency, accuracy and range of expression in written production in the target language To communicate in writing with ease and confidence in a range of professional and social situations

Learning Outcomes
1. Critically read and extract the content of a variety of text types at advanced level
2. Write a critical analysis of a variety of text types
3. Write reviews at advanced level
4. Write formal and informal letters and emails
5. Write essays at advanced level on a variety of subjects
6. Design questionnaires and write up the findings using appropriate language
7. Comment on surveys using appropriate language

Analysis of examples of written pieces (e.g. abstracts, dissertations, book reviews).
