Description
This module introduces the learner to the practical issues involved in translation by translating texts from a wide range of registers and genres.

Learning Outcomes
1. Identify a range of text types
2. Undertake a pre-translation text analysis
3. Choose an appropriate strategy for translating a particular text
4. Translate a range of Spanish texts into English
5. Evaluate an English translation of a Spanish text
