Description
This module provides an overview of sport and exercise psychology topics at an introductory level. The role of theory in the design and application of individual and group interventions to enhance sport participation is explained.

Learning Outcomes
1. Summarise key psychological theories and models from the area of sport psychology.
2. Design an athlete-centred intervention based on a comprehensive needs analysis and appropriate theory and research.
3. Operate within a group context to complete a number of practical based labs.
