Description
Components of this module include:Detailed functional and surface anatomy of the head, chest, abdomen and groin areas.Assessment methods of the head, chest, abdomen and groin.Management of injuries to the head, abdomen, chest, and groin as part of a muslitdisciplinary teamCurrent concepts of the nature and treatment of pain.Principles and practical skills of strapping and taping.

Learning Outcomes
1. Describe the functional anatomy of the head, chest abdomen and groin areas
2. Identify the surface anatomy of the head, chest, abdomen and groin areas
3. Clinically assess injuries of the head, chest abdomen and groin areas
4. Plan and implement prevention, treatment and rehabilitation programmes as a member of the multidisciplinary team
5. Demonstrate strapping and taping techniques
6. Describe the nature, neurophysiology and treatment of pain
