This module aims to: Present current knowledge on the use of therapeutic modalities in the treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. Introduce the student to selected alternative therapies.

Learning Outcomes
1. Describe the theoretical bases for therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to, ultrasound, TENS, interferential, and laser, in the management of musculoskeletal injuries
2. Demonstrate the practical applications of therapeutic modalities, including but not limited to, ultrasound, TENS, interferential, and laser, in the management of musculoskeletal injuries
3. Decrsibe the theory and practice of selected alternative therapies including, but not limited to, aromatherapy and homeopathy
