Description
The content of this module aims to present current concepts and practical skills relating to the use of soft tissue management techniques. This includes the introduction to, physiological explanation of, demonstration and practice of different soft tissue therapies including massage, sports massage and myofascial release.

Learning Outcomes
1. Describe the physiological principles and techniques of soft tissue therapies, including but not limited to sports massage
2. Demonstrate soft tissue treatment techniques
3. Describe the role of soft tissue therapies in preparation for exercise and recovery from exercise
4. Describe the role of soft tissue therapies in a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment of soft tissue injuries
