Description
This module involves placing the student with a team and also in the Student led Clinic. In addition the student will take part in the Journal Club. The module aims to teach the student1. how to carry out a complete patient assessment (subjective and objective) in 20-25 mins in a clinic or pitch-side environment2. how to prepare, deliver (in a concise and coherent manner) and discuss case presentations immediately after the patient consultation3.how to plan and progress sport-specific injury rehabilitation4.how to maintain and organise clinical notes

Learning Outcomes
1. Parform a full clinical assessment of an injured athlete in 25 minutes
2. Perform and discuss an oral presentation of a clinical case after a 25 minute patient assessment
3. Prepare a written case summary with specific emphasis on the rehabilitation plan
4. Perform a journal club presentation
5. Write a log book of cases seen
