Description
Module Aims: This module will teach the student how to draw together all aspects of the programme in in relation to assessment, diagnosis, treatment and sport-specific rehabilitation of the injured athlete in an environment of 'almost independent' practice wherein the academic staff provide support 'from a distance'. Students will 1. present cases by drawing on and critically appraising relevant literature. 2. take part in the journal club 3. manage the Student Led Clinic 4. maintain clinical notes.

Learning Outcomes
1. Assess an injured athlete utilising all the guidelines and clinical skills to which he/she has been exposed dirung the programme
2. List a differential diagnosis having assessed a patient
3. Produce a trreatment plan
4. Explain the diagnosis and treatment plan to the patiemnt
5. Produce clinical notes to the appropriate standard
6. Present and criticise a journal article from research and clinical perspectives
7. Organise the running of the Student Led Clinic
