Description
|
This module gives students the opportunity to write a short research dissertation in Chinese on a subject of their choice which relates to an aspect of Chinese culture or society.
|

Learning Outcomes |
1. Apply basic research methods relevant to the subject chosen.
2. Engage in advanced reading and analysis of secondary literature and documentary materials in a specialist area.
3. Structure a short thesis in a logical and coherent manner.
4. Present a descriptive/analytic argument in the foreign language that meets the required standards of accuracy in Chinese grammar and vocabulary, in both general and more specialised registers.
