Description

What challenges face the leaders of social enterprises in the 21st Century? How can the social sector manage growth in difficult financial circumstances? What developments from the business sector can be applied to the social sector?

In this unique module on social enterprise development, you'll learn about the steps you need to take as to manage growth in your organisation including:

• An introduction to social entrepreneurship and innovation
• Trends in the social enterprise space
• Managing growth in social enterprises
• Management governance
• Using technology for social impact

The individual sessions are two hours in duration, one morning a week for 8 weeks in DCU Ballymun on the Shangan Road.

This programme is aimed at managers in the partnerships as well as those at managing directors/senior staff levels in social enterprise companies or those thinking of developing a new social enterprise.
