Strategic Innovation Fund

Internationalisation (Strand 3)

DCU is a leader in the recruitment and support of international students, providing both undergraduate and pre-Masters Foundation Programmes to ease students into studying in an Irish context. An orientation week specifically for international students is also run each year.

The DRHEA will collaboratively develop and internationally market the brand Dublin: International Knowledge Region as a centre for world-class higher education and research.  It will do this by combining institutional international office resources to develop a coordinated, Dublin-wide, infrastructural capacity to promote, market and support international student growth and enhance the international student experience. This initiative aims to provide a homogenous experience for international students coming to Dublin. It will facilitate 'Intercultural Training' for all staff involved with International education.  Through the International Office and Faculties and Schools, DCU will prioritise activity on ‘Internationalising the curriculum’, integrated into our projects under Enhancement of Learning.

Through the International Office and Faculties and Schools, DCU will participate in the DISCC. We will also prioritise activity on ‘Internationalising the curriculum’, integrated into our projects under Enhancement of Learning.
