The Socio-Legal Research Centre has a particular interest in legal education and innovative methods of teaching law. Members of the SLRC have undertaken a number of research projects on the use of simulations (e.g. Moot Courts, Mock Trials) in legal pedagogy.
On 20 November 2010, the SLRC, in conjunction with the Learning Innovation Unit at Dublin City University, will host a National Moot Court Competition for undergraduate students in the new Criminal Courts Complex, Parkgate Street, Dublin.
