CUSAI, the Colleges and Universities Sports Association of Ireland proactively encourage and promote student led and student run intervarsity competitions. Each year CUSAI recognise and reward students and institutions for successfully hosting such competitions through the Intervarsity Event of the Year Award. Awards are presented in three different categories:

• Best one day event
• Best two day event
• Best three plus day event
