Video Conferencing Facilities at DCU

DCU’s Video Conferencing facilities, sponsored by HEAnet, can be used to make contact with individuals or groups which are part of the university community. Our system is a TANDBERG 6000 and is capable of up to 384K speed of transmission using ISDN lines. This equipment is also capable of providing video conferencing by IP.

The equipment is currently housed in a room (CG68) in the Henry Grattan Building which is capable of seating 7 at a table (in the case of meetings or interviews). However, there is extra, tiered seating that can accommodate up to 28 people.
