The CIS was established in 2001 to encourage
further initiatives in the area of International Studies in the School
of Law and Government at DCU. The Centre seeks to co-ordinate and promote
research in international studies and while sited in the School of Law
and Government it takes an interdisciplinary approach to research.
The School of Law and Government is committed
to excellence in teaching and research. Members of the School teach on
a wide range of undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes. The
School's research interests are concentrated in two main areas: law and
society; and governance and international studies.
