NOW CLOSED: The Centre for International Studies and the School of Law and Government in Dublin City University have PhD studentships on offer to begin on 1 October 2010.
Scholarships can be held by students on either the PhD programme in Politics and International Relations or students under-taking a PhD in law.
We welcome applications in any area where we can offer high quality supervision. For details of our research expertise see the staff and research project elements of this site
Scholarships are valued at over €20,000 per year (€16000 support plus fees) and both three-year and one-year scholarships are available).
These studentships are only available to those who propose to study on a full-time basis and who can be resident at DCU. PhD students will be provided with a workplace and computer and will have the opportunity to apply for travel funding for research purposes and to present conference papers.
Applicants can make a single application for both the PhD programme and the scholarships by submitting a cv, full details of grades achieved on their Masters degree, two academic referees and a PhD proposal (of approximately 2000 words) on or before 31 May 2010 via email to Centre for International Studies, School of Law and Government, Dublin City University - email cis@dcu.ie.
