Dr. John Doyle, Senior Lecturer in Government and Head of the School of Law and Government here at DCU has been recognised by IRCHSS for his research on, amongst other things, the politics of conflict and Northern Irish politics. John’s research is featured in a book to mark the 10th anniversary of the Council. “Mosaic - A Celebration of Research in the Humanities and Social Sciences” was launched in late November.
John joins 22 other academic staff and 4 doctoral scholars who were selected from amongst all those awarded IRCHSS grants over the last 10 years. He is one of only two scholars from the government/politics/IR discipline throughout Ireland to have been awarded this recognition by Ireland’s Research Council for the Humanities and Social Sciences
