Unicode
Please note that this database does not store unicode characters directly. All output from this database is HTML, and as such the unicode character representations interpreted by the users browser.
Every character can be represented as a decimal number (12508) or as a hexadecimal number (30DC). Decimal representations start with a &# and hexadecimal start with a &#x.
If you cannot see this Japanese character
ボ
then you need to change your browsers character set selection to unicode. Some browsers don't display the full unicode set, Internet Explorer seems to have the best unicode support.
If you want to use a unicode character as a search parameter then use that characters code (e.g. ボ or ボ).
