ID card

Your University ID card is your Library card. Bring it with you to the library at all times.
You use it to:

  • Get in to the library
  • Borrow, reserve or return material at the Express Service machines
  • Carry out some other library transactions

If you do not have your card with you, you will be unable to borrow material. If you lose your University ID card, tell library staff straight away and get a new one from Registry.

How to find what you want

Use the library catalogue to search for books, DVDs, journals, magazines and newspapers. (The catalogue is accessible through the Internet, anywhere you have a connection.) Note the shelfmark and go to the shelves to retrieve the material. If you can’t find what you are looking for, staff will always be glad to help.
