Books and E-books
Most Electronic Engineering books are located on the second floor of the library. You can find out which books we have by searching the Library Catalogue. It will tell you if we have a book, where it is and if it's already on loan to another library user. To find out more about borrowing from the library have a look at these web pages.

E-books
We also have access to a number of e-books. Most of these are on the
Library Catalogue.
The library currently provides access to thousands of e-books. When you search the library catalogue for you can refine your search by choosing "E-Books" on the left hand side of the screen. When you click on the link to view the book you may be asked to verify yourself as a registered student by logging in with your computer username and password (Novell login).
Apart from individual titles accessible via the catalogue, we also have searchable collections of e-books. Have a look at our e-books page for a full listing.
All our e-books can be accessed off-campus.
Journals
The
A-Z of journals is a listing of all our print and e-journals.
You can search this list by entering the title of the journal or you can get a list
of journals in your chosen subject area by browsing (see below).
It will tell you if the journal you are looking for is
-
in print here in the library
-
and/or electronically on one of our databases
and what years it is available.

Databases
The Library subscribes to many databases which allow you to easily
search for journal articles. Some databases
also provide references to reports, conference proceedings, theses and even books.
Some databases contain the full-text of the articles others provide you with a citation/abstract only.
In the case of citation/abstract databases click on the
this will search all our databases to see if the article you require is available.
Below are a selection of databases that are particularly relevant to your subject area. A full list of all our databases is available from the A to Z of databases.
