Mike Levy

Mike is Associate Professor of Language and Linguistics at Griffith University, Brisbane. For the last decade, he has been investigating the theoretical bases of CALL with a view to understanding more precisely the relationship between theory and design in the development of CALL programs and tasks. He is also particularly interested in developing a coherent and principled basis for research and evaluation, one that accurately reflects the goals and directions of practitioners in the field . Recently, his research has focused on investigating Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) techniques for language learning and learner autonomy.
